Clays and silts of degradation on limestone scree zone.
"Marc" is the pulp left in grapes once they have been pressed to make wine; it is rich in sugar and aromatics. Then the Marc ferments in sealed vats, to preserve aromatic freshness. Then he distillation process takes place in early winter, giving a white eau de vie. This is then aged in old oak barrels for 2 years minimum, allowing the Marc to gain flavoural complexity, creamy, round texture and take on its caramel colour.
Unique in France !
This outstanding, elegant digestif has aromas of almonds, apricots, lemon peel and smoky spice. Very soft to faith and powerful also, alcohol is remarkably well balanced and of great finesse. We can capture at the end of the mouth a sweet tip and very pleasant prunes with an endless and exceptional length.

Recognized for its excellent taste and digestive qualities, I strongly recommend serving this Marc alone or with a square of dark chocolate of high quality.
