Farming type

Biodynamic certificated

Terroir

Deep enough soil, rich in clay.

Winemaking

Manuel harvest. Pre-fermentation maceration, pumping over and pigeage. Vatting of 21 days on average with 20% new oak barrels. The aromatic finesse and elegance of the Pinot Noir is thus preserved. Analysis and daily tasting of the vats. Pneumatic pressing at low pressure. Slight settling before aging.

Tasting

The archetype of the 1st Crus of the south of Gevrey-Chambertin!
Wine displays a deep ruby colour and enticing aromas of spice and black fruits like cherrie, on the nose very intense. The palate is rich and fruity with a smooth, elegant mouthfeel, with silky tannins. Remarkable!
